Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Kwanzaa!

From my side of the world to yours !

Santa is finally here! I bet the lovely Christmas tree is being circled by loves ones and friends this Morning! Fresh Pot of coffee brewing and the aroma filling the air, the pattering of feet coming down the hallway, to find the gifts Santa left behind. That lovely tree decked out and lit to its glory ,the reindeer cookies are all gone. I imagine cheery faces all around in the room and a twinkle in each pair of eyes ,with the warm sun coming through the morning windows. I hope there is a bit snow outside in your neck of the woods. That would just make the day little bit sweeter with Family around.

I hope you and your sweet family are creating the best memories together of what's left 2019. And I hope you take lots of pictures as well ,for your family's photo album of the year. Forgot about your phone for a bit , play some games and have a little snowball fight in the driveway. I hope you get your little christmas wish and it comes true beyond your wildest dreams. Please take some time for yourself and relax , truely . Recommend you do that over some Hot Cocoa and some yummy cookies.

And my family and friends who also celebrate Armenian christmas on Jan Sixth , Shnorhavor Surb Tsnund! I wish you the best and many blessings your way! I promise I won't take down the tree down to soon again. I remember, I forgot the last time and it was between snow storms that year.

And New Year's eve is coming up and I hope you get a New Year's mooch also great start to the next year. See you in the next little post !

XOXO

It's Finally December, lots of festivities and Santa is coming to town.

And cold nights ahead but cozy fires nights in as well ,kind of season.

It's officially the winter season and the Christmas time is upon us as well. The last month of 2019 before the new year of 2020. I hope you have been good because Santa is coming to town and he already check his list twice. We all made it through the year and the winter season is officially here, fluffy powder or not; long party nights ahead either way. That being said Let's talk all things Christmas.

I like to think the time slows down a bit through the Christmas season known as December. More time to be with family and friends then being stuck at the office in the late hours. The air is different, people are happier and blessings happen. Towns and cities , all around the world are decorated to the nines, I secretly wish that places would be decorated like this for every holiday. I bet your home is decorated as well with lots of twinkling lights and candy canes galore.

I hope you are sending out your christmas cards this year, a physical copy to hang on pair of twinkle lights in another family home. Sending out cards is one of favorite thing as receiving some in my own mailbox. I think it's special to receive one, seeing a family expanding or a favorite moment that was captured just to be on this years christmas card than just being shared on social media.

Another thing I enjoy is the a good hot chocolate and I use almost every excuse or reason to have one. Good Hot Cocoa and or Hot coffee with a good book, or share some good news with a friend. I mean give the marshmallows , a fire going and fluffy blanket is ideal setting in my opinion. And so if you need to find me this holiday season that's where I will be on all snowy days. Isn't around the merry season, there's more sweets and treats baked and given out more than any other season. I think santa had a great job doesn't he putting presents under the tree and gets free baked yummy treats and yummy hot cocoa on the go in return. What's your favorite sweet treat to have during the christmas season?

Some families nowadays do a gift card exchange or a white elephant parties. I am curious what do you do in gift giving every year? I enjoy buying physical gifts, something funny, something someone needs but won't buy for themselves. I rather get zero presents and give more than anything else, it's probably because I love Giving and Wrapping for hours with some christmas music playing in the background. And seeing the love on people's faces and the wonder what's beyond the wrapping paper. And a little shameless plug, My zazzle shop is up if you need any last minute gifts. Wink, Wink! Beyond anything else I mentioned about christmas my absolute everything is a Ornament giving. One tradition that I Love carrying on each year. Everyone getting a new ornament to hang on the tree. Something Special each year and the Ornaments can be passed down and expanded. Like to think , picking out a Ornament for someone is a representation of them and something they either achieved that particular year or something they love. I love the little sparkle in their eyes going through the tissue paper and seeing their ornament for the year. And it's always the first thing I purchase for someone and wrap. Do you have a favorite Ornament that someone has given you? Mine is a Candy can, chocolate chip broken in pieces with a smiley face in the middle; and if you haven't noticed and have been following me around for a while now, I love peppermint.

The last little thing I wanted to share about what I love about christmas is my favorite christmas memory. It a street in California and I haven't been there in a long time and I think the last time I was there , I was at least ten. The street is called Candy Cane lane ; I used to think its the closest place to a winter wonderland without the snow. And if you have never been, You should go for the experience. I loved jumping in the car with a cup of Hot chocolate, every year. In the night air with the windows down ,I can smell the that same winter night air now. I remember sticking my child hand out the window and watching a whole street full of christmas cheer. Warm white twinkle lights hanging up above connecting from trees and to the otherside of the street, making a arch way all the way through the street, it's an unbelieve journey. Each house is full of lights and each have a theme and color scheme, blending into the next house. Watching people walking the sidewalk with red and white beanies. The best part was seeing Santa being at the very last house at the end. Full of people and yet it felt like a hallmark movie before my innocent eyes. Makes me happy to remember that moment. Here's my last question : What's your favorite childhood christmas moment, that you can remember ?

Happy early Christmas and I hope you get your shopping done before the Twenty- Fifth. And I hope miracles happen for you; unexpectedly beautifully.

There will be another post during christmas day. And there's possibility this month, of a new written piece, be on a lookout for that!

With love Always,

Giving is a gift
Better to give than to receive

When it comes to the holiday season, I enjoy giving then receiving. I love buying gifts for family and friends. I love seeing the joy on someone else's face opening up a physical gift then just a gift card in an envelope. Its completely beautiful to watch the neat wrapping get torn apart and seeing the eyes light up before the smile appears on their faces of unexpected pure joy that can't be cover up with a filter . I enjoy receiving the Christmas cards than gifts, the idea of card picked out just for a special individual by a loved one . Writing down a little note on one side is better than a text message, there is pure love and no abbreviations to shorten the sentences. I enjoy seeing someone's thoughts written down on a card sent to me , it's the unexpected notes that make me smile leaving the mail boxes before I even look at a single card. The very best part about giving is time to me, Volunteering or planning a surprise visit to see that special someone you haven't seen in a long time. Helping at a local charity for a day, giving your time to help serve food at a local church , help decorate someone house. You never know what your time and love can affect someone else's life for a few moments or for their whole lives. Better to give than to receive leaves a bigger footprint than anyone could leave behind and giving through out the year than just during the holiday season.
