This fourth of July week or weekend is one my favorite holidays besides the christmas season. It's not about the fireworks or the giant food spreads but about the people around and those who fought for our Freedom. The yummy food vendors are just a bonus let's be honest. But it's time frame I enjoy walking through all the festivals and listening to the laughs , Kites flying high in the sky and the Hot air Balloons soaring high the morning light . Walking by the lakes and hearing young kids running around, laughing in plur bliss without a care in the world and some with Ice cream cones in their tiny hands. In that moment, I think about the Men and Women who fought for us oceans and miles away that don't always get to spend any holidays at home and see all the smiling familiar faces, face to face like we get to do. I drive home late in the evening, very slowly and see Our flag near each house raised and flying in the wind.Brings a smile and a tear to my soul , we would be never called the Home of the Brave without the brave ones; the ones that we will never know all their names nor what exactly what they did but they signed up and gave up their daily lives to protect us. I love seeing The colors of Red, White and Blue that light up the day with our Patriotic shirts on , I like to think the ones around appreciate it more then we do because they know what they did for our freedom. The fireworks in the night sky during the fourth ,aren't for us But for them and a reminder of how we became a nation of Independence in July 1776. Those fifty -six signatures from those delegates; changed everything for us as people and as a nation then to right now in our present moment. " Certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" The Declaration of Independence

Those words above should never be forgotten, I think as the same as we stand with our hands over our hearts as the star spangled banner is being played for respect and gratitude for all we have in blessings and to have our freedom to be who we want, to do what we want and to chase our happiness each day of our lives. By all that being said Remember why and how we came independent and have our freedom than having days off from work.

I hope you all have a safe and a enjoyable fourth of July, spend all the time you can with family.

With love always ,

Cassie

I have been thinking of releasing a novel of collection of pieces for quite some time now before I release Akw novel And I am going to DO IT. Ones that are published on here under written pieces page and pieces that I haven't released at all. I have been reflecting about it,in the last two months. I already have the title in my hands (Quite lengthy Title) and I know exactly what pieces to include as well but some pieces might be changing a little bit. I kept thinking that all the pieces I have written collectively, they all flow together pretty nicely. I just can't keep this project out of my mind the last two weeks, I am a giddy as a kid in a candy store about it . And speaking of a store the My shop will be coming out , I hoping for before the ending of this month. I have been a creative mood to start and finish projects, lately and testing out new Ideas. I am letting everything flow out of me and running with it, Just to where it all leads to who knows.. I am Just going for it all, we all shall see where to where it goes , Together.

I will give a little background on about my latest piece , in this coming week in a blog post and on my Insta Highlights. A little reminder I will be uploading The spring series as soon as I finish them then I will be working on the San Simeon trip from March!

This day is the day , we remember those served and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect every person in this country and leave their families behind and long with missing memories as well. On this day , I light a candle all day and to remember all the people who sacrifice. I have lost a few military family in the last year , I think of them. What they did , the stories they told and how they lived after what they witness to protect us. I think of the people, we will never know their names or their stories and what they did; the unknown. There are those who have earned the purple heart that we will never know why they received it but they have earned it We can never repay those brave individuals enough but we can try to help those whom they left behind without a thought. Every military person I see , I try to something to help even if it a smallest thing , I want to see them smile. When I see the american flags raised to half mass in any area, I thank that flag whom ever that flag is for , whatever branch they served and for their families left behind. To all whom served, and did without a thought, so we can be free to do what we want because of those brave souls, Thank you.
