Just wanted to say Hi and hope you all had a fun, safe Fourth of July. I had a exciting fourth of July including the earthquake in California that occured after I got home from photographing all morning long. In the same day I witness a wonderful sunset and after the firework show there was another beautiful moment in the sky , that I think no one noticed besides myself, I think. I ran for the nearest camera on hand in the dark before it disappeared on me , behind the mountains. I have tons of photographs of the Hot air Balloons in the last two days. And two more days to go with the Big Balloons in the sky, plus I will be going up in one too! I honestly can't wait for it Tomorrow morning, I maybe an adult but the heart of a child when it comes to trying something new that pushes my limits. I have been told that once I am in the sky, I won't want to come down and that I would would want my own Hot Air Balloon myself. We shall see what happens in that matter. More Photos and videos to come from this week , I can't to start editing and building a new series.

This fourth of July week or weekend is one my favorite holidays besides the christmas season. It's not about the fireworks or the giant food spreads but about the people around and those who fought for our Freedom. The yummy food vendors are just a bonus let's be honest. But it's time frame I enjoy walking through all the festivals and listening to the laughs , Kites flying high in the sky and the Hot air Balloons soaring high the morning light . Walking by the lakes and hearing young kids running around, laughing in plur bliss without a care in the world and some with Ice cream cones in their tiny hands. In that moment, I think about the Men and Women who fought for us oceans and miles away that don't always get to spend any holidays at home and see all the smiling familiar faces, face to face like we get to do. I drive home late in the evening, very slowly and see Our flag near each house raised and flying in the wind.Brings a smile and a tear to my soul , we would be never called the Home of the Brave without the brave ones; the ones that we will never know all their names nor what exactly what they did but they signed up and gave up their daily lives to protect us. I love seeing The colors of Red, White and Blue that light up the day with our Patriotic shirts on , I like to think the ones around appreciate it more then we do because they know what they did for our freedom. The fireworks in the night sky during the fourth ,aren't for us But for them and a reminder of how we became a nation of Independence in July 1776. Those fifty -six signatures from those delegates; changed everything for us as people and as a nation then to right now in our present moment. " Certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" The Declaration of Independence

Those words above should never be forgotten, I think as the same as we stand with our hands over our hearts as the star spangled banner is being played for respect and gratitude for all we have in blessings and to have our freedom to be who we want, to do what we want and to chase our happiness each day of our lives. By all that being said Remember why and how we came independent and have our freedom than having days off from work.

I hope you all have a safe and a enjoyable fourth of July, spend all the time you can with family.

With love always ,

Cassie
