This fourth of July week or weekend is one my favorite holidays besides the christmas season. It's not about the fireworks or the giant food spreads but about the people around and those who fought for our Freedom. The yummy food vendors are just a bonus let's be honest. But it's time frame I enjoy walking through all the festivals and listening to the laughs , Kites flying high in the sky and the Hot air Balloons soaring high the morning light . Walking by the lakes and hearing young kids running around, laughing in plur bliss without a care in the world and some with Ice cream cones in their tiny hands. In that moment, I think about the Men and Women who fought for us oceans and miles away that don't always get to spend any holidays at home and see all the smiling familiar faces, face to face like we get to do. I drive home late in the evening, very slowly and see Our flag near each house raised and flying in the wind.Brings a smile and a tear to my soul , we would be never called the Home of the Brave without the brave ones; the ones that we will never know all their names nor what exactly what they did but they signed up and gave up their daily lives to protect us. I love seeing The colors of Red, White and Blue that light up the day with our Patriotic shirts on , I like to think the ones around appreciate it more then we do because they know what they did for our freedom. The fireworks in the night sky during the fourth ,aren't for us But for them and a reminder of how we became a nation of Independence in July 1776. Those fifty -six signatures from those delegates; changed everything for us as people and as a nation then to right now in our present moment. " Certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" The Declaration of Independence

Those words above should never be forgotten, I think as the same as we stand with our hands over our hearts as the star spangled banner is being played for respect and gratitude for all we have in blessings and to have our freedom to be who we want, to do what we want and to chase our happiness each day of our lives. By all that being said Remember why and how we came independent and have our freedom than having days off from work.

I hope you all have a safe and a enjoyable fourth of July, spend all the time you can with family.

With love always ,

Cassie

P.s : There will be a blog post about my little trip, being in the sky.. In A Hot air Balloon this year!

The concept of an eye for an eye in a fiction novel at it's finest.

Another continuation of Lisbeth Salander's story and she is Fighting harder she ever has before not just for herself but for others. Even a prison can't control Salander from anyone including from herself getting in more trouble. Moving pieces throughout the novel at once it started to move along to the main plot of the connection of the web of family connections as a game of chase beyond Lisbeth.

Eye for an eye - Must read

And nevertheless Mikael is right there to catch it all , helping solving mysteries and other connections to her and the registry that started the mess with other children as well. New characters to add to the drama , like another set of twins Leo and Dan. And the complete unexpected death that started the unravel of fights, searches for answers into the registry to find the answers to those who ruined their lives and protecting another women whom was put in the same prison as Salander for the wrong reason. In this novel Salander is more of a fighter and a protector then ever to take an eye for an eye; taking the punches and yet at the same time always having the upper hand in the situation. The eye of the person who destroyed her childhood to her current life as an adult. And the Hacker society is there help as usual , having her back in her time of need for extra back up.

At the beginning and the end , the question of , "Why is the dragon tattoo is important to her?, to her in her past and to her present. It seem to be the thesis of the novel and I wanted the answer to that question since book one of Lisbeth series began. That representation of that dragon turn out to be the statute of a dragon being threatened with the sword by Saint George. That statue opened up her eyes at a young age of her life during the pouring rain and the end of this novel's questions. I like to think we all have fire in us, either we know it or not, either we use it or not, we have it and that statue make is a great representation of that.

Women are a special kind, group of individuals. Trailblazers, Visionaries and unlimited Warriors full of beauty from the mind to the heart; inside and out. Women do much and ask little in return , sometimes forget themselves. Facing any challenges that come along their way to make an impact than just an argument. Some Famous women that stand out in my mind are Sacagawea, Amelia. Earhart and Rosa parks, all important women in our history. There are so many other courageous women that lends to where are now by raising their voices , louder than most ; making the changes in our history. Powerful to know when to hold back and when to fight back with grace. To carry another life for nine months in their bodies.I have many women in my life that inspire me everyday, made sacrifices without a thought and whom are stronger than they know. We all can agree we as women, we need to give ourselves a little break once in a while and be kind to our bodies then worry about what others think. We all From my sweet grandmother's to my closest friends that are all beautifully strong and wise. I could write pages and pages about all the beautiful women in my life that are in life that make me a better woman myself everyday, shaping me into a stronger version of myself. And every woman that has walked into my life has always taught me something , I didn't know about . Very thankful for every single one of you and to the those I haven't met yet Thank you to!

Happy Women's day to all the women around the world, I love you and you are Beautifully perfect in every way ! Let's continue leaving our mark on this world with grace.

P.S :What women inspires you, everyday?
