Did you know this Labor day is the 125th anniversary as a national holiday ?

Labor day started in September 1882 in New York , the city that never sleeps and we are in the year 2019.Labor day is the day that national a day of rest for all that work hard for the country. Some call this day,the end of summer days. From the workers who start their day at their office before most people wake up to their day and to those who start their morning when people sleep through the night. The dedication to the social and economic, the essentials of momentum for everyday life. The men and women who work in the fields in the early hours to the men and women who are teachers , airplane mechanics and letter carriers. Without teachers there would be less knowledge for the next generation. Without airplane mechanics we wouldn't be safe to fly . And without letter carriers, our mail would never get delivered ,place to place.

The people who support others behind the wheel of life. Those are people who are the strength, the prosperity that make the nation move. They are the ones who work overtime with no vacation time to provide food on their table and help the rest of us do the same without realizing it. They do so much more inside and outside than being apart of a union force.

Today is the day, where we should relax for day ,truly. Go outside enjoying the morning hours with coffee or tea, watch the night sky take form with tiny lights. Turn off the cell phones for the day , be in the moment. Remember there was time where all the social media was just being with others physically.

Here's to 125 years and more years to come, enjoy the day.

Two months ago I started to write this about something that I just couldn't get out of my head , It's currently sat besides me as I am typing this. I have five handwritten pages front to back ,so far without typing it up. And it's another vulnerable piece that I thought about not even publishing until I realized how impactful it is to the human heart and hopefully connects with you, it's titled ,

( I "Loved you " Then) . There will be a few out there in the A Person Misread world that will know exactly why it was written. I walked away from this piece , months ago because it became too hard to finish but I have it now. And it's in the process of editing now and if anyone knows me well in editing mode alone ,it will only get longer. So in the end this piece might turn into a novel all by itself.

I hope you guys will enjoy it and it touches your heart like it did mine.

It will be released sooner than you think.

I did give you a little warning about the length.

Love you ,

Misread

Every year around fall, I cuddle up and watch practical magic with lit candles. This year, I decided to read the novel for once and before the autumn season officially begins.

Let me honest first, I think this might be the only novel that I prefer the movie version slightly more over the novel (just by Hair). Only for a few things that were different between the two storylines in my opinion that are up for a little debate of which one is slightly better.

I love the storyline of practical magic all the together , the bond of family ups and their downs, through tragedies that bind them together from the past to the present. And I love the aspect of falling in love deep that came about differently for each character.

The idea of practical magic in the wispier of the wind and the candle burning during the night hours , feels like magic through the pages and before I knew it the novel ended.

The owens women reminds me about the women in my life as sisters and as friends their strengths, their kindness, their craziness but like the owens protecting each other from situations and yet fighting when one person is wrong. Even through pain and loss and the chaos of life, finding the love of their lives makes a magical ride of a chaotic rollercoaster storyline.

I love the play of magic throughout the novel, hearing spells, seeing ghosts and their past history of ties that tie to their current lives individually for each sister in the love aspect. Going back Maria owens that had her heartbroken before the aunts, Sally and Gillian ever did. And how the aunts payed for their new roof from their side business , helping out the public.

My favorite quote is that very end of the novel said by sally owens, '' Always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder. Keep rosemary by your garden gate.. plant roses and lavender for luck .Fall in love whenever you can."

I couldn't agree more fall back in love with magic , fate , life and moments despite all tragedy being thrown at the sisters, through blood family fights together and becomes stronger each time. Losing a love that was a deep connection to a tragedy and still finding a soulmate that makes magic appear through electricity of air that I can't be described. Makes the person wake to their core and do anything to protect their soulmate, unconditionally.

The question is Love practical or magical?

That's what I got from the novel, what are your thoughts?
