My last Book review of 2019, last book review of this decade before the next decade.

I would like to say this novel kept me on edge without even realising I was on the edge of my seat. And even when I thought I had the book figured out, there was twists that I didn't expect to read. I think this novel particular tie up some loose ends and questions from the previous novels. My favorite line Salander said that the very end of the novel, "Time to begin again ". Which made me smile ear to ear for two reasons. one because of the timing of when I actually finished the novel . And the second reason because it made me feel like Salander would say something like that ending the novel.

The storyline of this novel about the mysterious no name man who died with Blomkvist number in his pocket and Salander is missing in action and yet on her own mission. I was beyond intrigued on how the two would collide and expand. Nima is one character that I won't forget. He had so much strength and kindness to help. When he lost everything, he still tried to make everything right till the very end.

Let me tell you it was piece of mysterious art in my opinion. Salander remembering what she saw as child regarding her sister Camilia, Ithink made her think of how she really see her and the guilt she had in her that she didn't know she had. I like to think Mikael will always love Salander more than he will never admits even through fire and the same on Salander side. That's all I am going to say, short and sweet. And it's definitely a must read !

The Orphan's Tale by Pam Jenoff .

Let me just say first , this novel is extraordinary not only in the characters and the story. And this novel taught me that , there are so many unknown stories about the lives lost in war and there are many more stories we don't know about yet from either war. About the innocent ones, the ones who brought normalcy to the world, that was being shattered by violence. Each soul is important, regardless of their race.

I can't even imagine what their lives and emotions were each day. Protecting one and another as a family; strangers and people who come together, when they have nowhere else to go

And thinking the babies that barely had lived enough to be taken away from their mothers to their death, left an unsettling impression in my soul and reminder of what was lost; truly were the innocent , that the was also unforgiving part of who you are, it didn't matter as long you solicited with Jews you were dead to. I never thought about the circus folk during those times, I hope this novel reaches more as a reminder they mattered and existed. I just wanted to know about them, each person. And they went just some "Unamed Footnote" In history. The Circus always accepted everyone in the community and hide those who need safety from the SS. Collective of strangers with a gift became family and showed the world, there is will always be light in the world no matter what the circumstances are.

Family isn't about blood that ties us. We are all start as strangers if you think about it. And the people who walk into your life turn into family, those are the ones that speak volumes when tragedy happens. Even under the circumstances of war friendship and finding love is possible.

In the end people do the impossible to make the possible happen for the good for one soul even through war. And finding love through it all in each person through tragedy or not; loves does conquer the word even through death. I wish Peter and Astrid's had more time together. Astrid and Noa created an unbreakable bond in the end as if they were sisters from the start of their lives. Both with tragic pasts and they understood each other's secrets, the most. And Theo was the lucky one to be saved.

The ending of this novel before the epilong wasn't what I expected; in fact the last three chapters bewildered me with the events that happened. The last line in the last chapter, it made take a breath in and hold back tear."And Then Darkness"; were Noa's last words. That just said it all for the novel the darkness finally took over. Prepare for your emotions and heart strings to be pulled endless but Highly work every single one. I tried to write this book review without giving anything away. This novel is full of love, tragedy and sacificies.

Beautifully written book about Family feels in all aspects.

Tending Roses by Lisa Wingate

Let me first say this book is about family to me, through tradegy and to the most beautifu moments. lFrom beginning to end ; Lisa wingate made me think of my family in different light. From those we drifted apart and to those I am deeply close with. Then I started to think, what or whom ties us together in life. Do we have a Grandma Rose in our lives? I know I do and her personality is similar to Rose, in my opinion. Also made me think about my relationship between my father and myself ,when I read about kate and her relationship with her father; I learned something about theirs and how it's similar to my life. After thinking about things as I read each page, I felt every emotion in different ways at different moments. And at some moments tears were rolled down my cheeks at midnight.

We all have tragic moments in life, where things are said in anger or done . People grief in different ways and some hold grudges against others , even if they are the closest individuals in our lives. Family should never feel like a group of strangers in a room. People separate from one another to a point, they forget all the good memories , they had with each other. This novel made me think and wonder about family members , I reach out throughout the year and where I have never received a word from them. it shouldn't take a tragic moment in life to bring family together , nevertheless this novel is about reconnection as a family moment. From learning the rift between the family , throughout the novel, I glad in the end how things worked out for each person in the family. Aunt Jean, karen and Ben and others learned something about themselves along the way, that we could take away something to relate, to our lives.

I couldn't get enough Grandmas Rose's Wildflower notebook, makes me think about writing something like that for someone. I enjoyed reading her stories from her childhood that helped kate understand something happening her life in the present. And the time Grandma Rose took out to do that for Kate , made my heart melt. "The reason she had existed at all".I like to think Kate will write one for Joshua about their moments together.

Overall, one of my best reads of this year, in my opinion. Everyone should pick up a copy because it will open your heart in ways and help you understand family in different aspects, that you never understood before. Truly seeing people in your life , just when you close the novel. And side note I picked out this novel based on the title alone, I didn't even read the back cover. The title just stuck in my head before I even checked out of the store, I was in. This novel will change how, you see things in life and would make the perfect novel for a bookworm.

Tending Roses is the perfect Autumn novel leading into the holiday season!

Love always and more reviews to come.
